She has successfully placed people in executive and senior roles across the value chain, including aircraft leasing companies, aviation financiers, airlines, airports and service providers (including MRO, catering and ground handling).

Murrae has worked in executive search since 2000, and the type of roles Murrae has filled extends from C’Level and senior management in varying functions, across the globe from Europe, Asia, the US and Africa, giving her a wealth of experience.

Well connected, Murrae is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) and currently sits on several ISTAT Foundation committees, with a desire to give back to the industry. Additionally, she sits on the board of Advancing Women in Aviation Roundtable, as secretary and is a member the Aviation Club of the UK.

In her spare time Murrae enjoys travel, backgammon, singing and volunteering.

Lori co-founded a transportation advisory firm, SkyBlue Capital, specializing in structuring and placement of aviation finance and lease structures through cooperative agreements with international investors. 

Lori has developed working relationships with the US Majors as well as leasing companies, asset managers, private equity firms and investment banks worldwide.

Prior to SkyBlue, whilst at DVB Bank, a specialist in international transport finance, Lori was VP of Marketing in the bank’s New York office serving clients like FedEx and UPS and American Airlines. She started her career in traditional small business enterprise lending, after earning her BS in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.

Lori is a member of 100 Women in Finance, International Society of Transport Aircraft Traders (ISTAT), Women in Aviation and the International Women’s Club of Dublin.

Lori resides with her husband and twin children in Connecticut, USA. In her spare time Lori enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and skiing.

Her focus was initially on the legal industry as she has placed lawyers into international law firms, global companies across a broad range of industries and into Financial Institutions.

However since joining Horizon Executive Search Philippa, in addition to focusing on legal roles within the industry also carries out searches in Asia.

With experience of placing lawyers across a range of senior positions, Philippa has placed Partners, Regional Counsel as well as handling the junior to mid-level market.

Having completed business studies and Law at University, she started her career with a global law firm before moving into executive search in 1998. Philippa has worked in London, Singapore and Hong Kong and has a thorough understanding of a wide variety of legal roles and cultures across many different jurisdictions.

Philippa is married (to a Lawyer) and has two girls and a very timid cat called Agnes.

She started her career in Hotel Management at the prestigious Gleneagles, so we know she is top quality, following her degree in Hospitality Management from Napier University in Edinburgh, during which she won the Napier Trophy for “most outstanding ability”.

In her spare time, Yvonne’s kids keep her very busy alongside a dog called Elsie who also acts as our Chief Wellness Officer when she comes to visit.

Earlier in her career, Jennie spent over 13 years with American Express as a Project Manager within its Insurance Services and Business Travel divisions, gaining extensive experience in a large international organisation.
More recently, she has held a number of part-time roles, including bookkeeping for ATP Technical Ltd and working with Horsham District Council at The Capitol Theatre, where she progressed from Customer Service Assistant to Theatre Supervisor. She also works as an Exam Invigilator at two local secondary schools.
With her broad professional background and experience across different working environments, Jennie brings a versatile range of skills to her role, supporting the day-to-day administration and smooth running of Horizon’s office.
Outside of work, Jennie enjoys running and spending time with her son, making the most of outings and activities together.

Mr Martin was the longest serving CEO of the same company in the aircraft leasing industry.

He is now a non Executive Director of BOC Aviation and member of the Strategy and Budget Committee, an advisor to Horizon Executive Search International Ltd, and a Board Director of ISTAT, a global non profit organization focused on aviation networking and training.

He joined the Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (renamed BOC Aviation) in 1998 and over 26 years, led the organization through a successful expansion programme which has seen it emerge as a consistently profitable and leading player in the global aircraft leasing business, and successfully achieving a public listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 1 June 2016.

Mr Martin began his career in aircraft financing in London with Bank of America in 1987. He subsequently held senior positions in both London and Singapore with The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, Ltd. before moving to HSBC Investment Bank in Hong Kong where he held the position of Aircraft Finance Director.

In addition to his role as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Mr Martin held a seat on the Board.

Mr Martin holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Cambridge University. He is a Fellow Benefactor of Selwyn College, University of Cambridge.

She loves a sunny spot and will happily nap whilst the rest of the team works hard. She instinctively knows when it is time for people to take a break for lunch and enjoys the occasional piece of bacon or sausage, if someone is willing to share them with her.

Though, if that is not on offer a piece of antler will do the trick. We love when Elsie is in the office as she brings great calm to us all. So, her title is well deserved.
