The Role

The Director of Technical Records will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of the company’s aviation assets’ technical records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. This position involves leading projects, managing trading campaigns, and facilitating deal closures related to technical records, while ensuring the integrity of aircraft technical data. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in aircraft technical records management and a proven track record of success in the aviation industry.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead technical projects and trading campaigns related to aircraft records management
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the company’s aircraft records and maintenance information
  • Oversee the maintenance of records systems to facilitate efficient search and retrieval of aircraft records
  • Maintain oversight of key industry challenges and identify potential exposure and mitigation strategies

The Person

We are looking for a records builder who is a skilled technical professional, who has experience of onsite aircraft transitions, repossessions, and back to birth records tracing.  This role could suit a technical consultant with this knowledge and exposure who is keen to move inhouse for a reputable aircraft leasing company.  As well as those skills just mentioned the ideal candidate should meet the following requirements amongst others:

  • 7+ years’ experience in aviation Technical Records management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aviation, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Experience in aircraft leasing and trading

The Package

Our client is offering an attractive remuneration package commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience.  This position will be based in Dublin, Ireland.

Please note that applicants from Ireland only will be considered and must be able to work 4 days a week in the office.
