The Company

Our client is a leading international law firm. The Dublin office currently has a vacancy for the position of Asset Finance Associate.

The Role

This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer (2 -7 years post-qualification experience) to join our client’s Irish law asset finance team in Dublin and make a significant contribution to their growing practice.

The Asset Finance Associate will be responsible for:

  • Structuring, drafting, negotiating, and executing a wide range of transactional agreements related to asset finance.
  • Assisting with the implementation of multi-party and multi-jurisdictional financing transactions, including the coordination of banks, investors, airlines, accountants, tax advisors, financial arrangers and all relevant legal counsel.
  • Responsible for working on transactions end-to-end efficiently and effectively.
  • Advising clients, in conjunction with senior lawyers, on legal aspects across a broad range of asset finance matters and solving legal issues arising in complex cross-border financing structures.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have outstanding technical legal skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well within a team environment. The successful individual’s qualifications and experience will include:

  • Experience gained within a top-tier law firm in Ireland, the U.K., or internationally
  • A minimum of two years plus post qualification asset finance, general banking or capital markets experience in a private practice law firm or in-house.
  • All candidates must be eligible to work within the Republic of Ireland.
