VP Marketing, Asia

The Role

Based in Singapore and reporting to the Senior Vice President Marketing Asia Pacific, the VP Marketing will lead all commercial endeavours at a specified number of airline accounts.

The role’s objectives will be to:

• Negotiate, represent &and support leadership in the Asia Pacific region to help achieve the financial and commercial objectives.
• Participate in the global activity of Airlines related transactions within this region.
• Participate in the development and implementation of a business development strategy to ensure the delivery of the firm’s growth and expansion agenda.
• Oversee relationship management with existing customers in order to deepen existing relationships and identify opportunities for further fleet placement.

The Person

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors in finance, business administration, economics or equivalent and / or an Engineering Degree

Minimum Experience:

• 15 years or more of experience in aviation related business including time spent within

1. 1. an aircraft leasing company or business development function of a global leasing company,
   2. an Airline,
   3. a technical services provider to the aviation

• With a track record of leasing & transitioning commercial aircraft for lease or for sale, combined with a track record of critically analysing and concluding aircraft financing transactions is preferred.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Expert understanding of the aviation sector, in particular leasing.
• Expert understanding and knowledge of business development and client relationship management.
• Expert understanding of sales and marketing principles and their application.
• Strong business acumen with good sense of deal closing.
