
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President Engine Management will lead the team responsible for the acquisition, marketing, and sales strategy for identified engine types. This role will lead the asset management function for the engine parts trading division through outlining marketing plans and coordinating efforts with the commercial department.
The VP Engine Management responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage a team and processes for engine acquisition, disassembly, component repair, and sales to meet asset and overall revenue targets.
- Develop and execute product strategy and pricing rationale to achieve/exceed business revenue and margin goals.
- Evaluate and identify sales channels in support of product strategy.
- Oversee engine valuation for acquisition opportunities and submit and support approval workflows.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor dismantlement progress with identified engine dismantlement facilities.
The Person
The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen, extensive industry knowledge and connections, in addition to leadership skills, a solid technical knowledge of a variety of engine types and the ability to source and price potential engine purchases as part of deal teams and in support of the CEO. Our preferred candidate will have worked for an after-service provider, MRO, or engine leasing company, with valuation knowledge and experience acquiring engines for disassembly.
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years of aviation industry experience or 8+ years of progressive work experience in commercial aviation specifically with engine products.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build, train, and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Ability to manage and run deal teams in different functions and overseas office locations effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills.

- Able to travel internationally regularly, and at times, at short notice, as required.
