General Manager – Financial Controller

The Role

This dynamic role is responsible for the general operation of this small aircraft and engine leasing company based in Dublin.

Key responsibilities will include the management and oversight of the following areas:

•  Accounting
• Tax
• Finance and analysis
• Legal and
• Managing other company entities

The Person

The ideal candidate for the position will ideally be:

• Qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant with at least 8 years’ post-qualification experience working in industry or practice in an aircraft leasing-related role
• Significant experience of working through complex accounting and technical issues in an aircraft leasing environment
• Adept at handling competing pressures and stresses and following through on multiple demands and priorities.

Our client is a freighter aircraft and engine leasing platform.  Headquartered in Dublin, our client has been in business since 2017.  Backed by a New York fund management business, founded in 1996, they take a private equity approach to investing and managed approximately $5Billion of assets.

The company has a global footprint of independent advisers, giving them access to deep commercial, analytical and technical expertise across the full spectrum of commercial aviation.

The Package

This position will be based in Dublin in Ireland and our client is offering an attractive remuneration package commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience.
