The Role

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join its Portfolio Management Team, providing support for fund raising activities, capital deployment, ongoing performance monitory and reporting and investor communications.

Based in Dublin, the candidate will benefit from the support and experience of the Portfolio Management Team, exposure to members of senior management, as well as external industry professionals.

Key responsibilities will include:

Fundraising

  • Assist the Investor Relations team with due diligence requests and reports
  • Prepare fund marketing material and prepare ad-hoc market commentary

Capital Deployment

  • Participate in model reviews,
  • Prepare bid proposals, liaise with the Marketing, Technical and Legal teams.
  • Review transaction documents
  • Support Legal, Contracts and Finance teams through the acquisition process

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track and report fund performance
  • Assist with the preparation of internal approval documentation, ad hoc reports and memorandums as required

Investor Communications

  • Prepare quarterly investor letters including market commentary
  • Prepare annual and semi-annual Fund performance presentations

Quarterly Reporting

  • Preparation of CAP quarterly reports including the AUM, Track Record, Servicer and CAP Fleet files
  • Support the Investor Relations team with the preparation and update of the Corporate Presentation, Fund update presentations, market outlook presentations and performance reports.

The Person

The ideal candidate for the position should meet the following requirements:

  • 2 – 4 years’ of experience in aviation related business
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in finance, economics, statistics and probabilities or equivalent
  • Financial modelling experience, strong statistical and analytical background.
  • Strong statistical and analytical background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, report writing skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in any other language is a plus

The company is currently investing in its fifth institutional real assets fund, which focuses on mid-life, in-production commercial aircraft, as well as its sixth institutional real assets fund, which focuses on new technology and early life commercial aircraft.
